Information we collect

• Quiz information you provide, including your name if supplied, birth date, birth time if known, birthplace, soulmate gender preference, preferred apparent age range, visual preference, and email address.
• Calculated birth chart information, saved quiz progress, generated previews, readings, and portraits.
• Purchase information, such as checkout references, payment status, and transaction details. Payment card details are entered in Stripe's checkout; our application does not store your full card number or security code.
• Website usage information, such as page visits, device and browser information, quiz events, and checkout events. We also capture campaign parameters and click identifiers included in your visit URL.
• Information you provide when contacting support.

How we use information

We use your information to save and resume your quiz, calculate birth charts, personalize and generate your reading and portrait, verify purchases, provide access to results, respond to support requests, troubleshoot failures, and understand website performance and campaign effectiveness.

When you save your email, we also use it for a series of up to five follow-up emails about your reading, including personalized preview reminders and offers. We stop this series when we confirm your purchase or you unsubscribe. Every follow-up includes an unsubscribe link. We retain delivery history and unsubscribe preferences to manage this series and avoid sending unwanted repeat emails.

Services that process information

We use Supabase for database and portrait storage, Stripe for payments, Google Maps services to resolve birth locations, OpenAI to generate readings and, depending on configuration, OpenAI or Google to generate portraits. Relevant birth information, calculated chart data, selected preferences, or portrait prompts are sent to the services needed to produce your result.

Google Analytics processes website usage and purchase events. Our custom quiz analytics events do not include your name, email address, birth date, or quiz answers. Analytics may still collect technical information and page URLs.

These providers process information according to their terms and privacy policies. You can read the Stripe Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect the service against fraud or abuse.

Our email delivery provider processes the recipient email address and the contents of the emails sent through our SMTP service.

Cookies and browser storage

We use session storage to remember your active reading, retain campaign attribution within the browser tab, and avoid duplicate analytics events. Google Analytics and Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies for their services. See how Google uses cookies for more information.

You can manage cookies and website storage in your browser settings or use tools that block analytics. Disabling storage or payment-related technologies may affect quiz resumption or checkout.

Retention and security

Quiz and result information is saved on our servers so the experience can be resumed and purchased content can be accessed. Clearing browser storage does not delete server records. Retention depends on providing the service, resolving support matters, and meeting legal, accounting, or security requirements.

We use access controls and private portrait storage with temporary access links. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Treat your reading link as private, since someone with the link may be able to access your saved reading.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can skip providing your name and indicate when your birth time is unknown. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict processing.

Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify that the request relates to your information. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved transactions. Where applicable, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

International processing and updates

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Applicable protections and processing practices depend on the provider and applicable law. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies the latest version.
